Smooth Collie Club of Great Britain Judges' Training Programme
The Club also runs a popular judges' training programme. This comprises three parts - the first for aspiring judges with no previous experience or for those who just wish to learn more about assessing the Smooth Collie but with no desire to judge; the second for those with some experience who wish to gain more experience or advance within the Club's own judges list and progress towards CC status; the third for those experienced judges who wish to gain promotion to the Club's A list. Information will be published here about the next session of the programme when available.
The 2010 workshop will be held on Saturday 2rd October at Walcote, near Lutterworth in Leicestershire. The workshop this year is aimed at beginners/intermediate Smooth Collie judges with training provided by three Smooth Collie specialist CC awarding judges. The learning experience will be complemented by a hands on examination of dogs and a supportive 1:1 discussion with a senior judge.

9.30 - 10.00 Registration and light refreshments
10.00 -11.00 Résumé on the Smooth Collie Breed Standard - Presented by Tony Foulston
11.00 - 3.30 Candidates will be asked to judge a class of Smooth Collies then discuss their judging and placings with a mentor. The mentors for the day are:-

3.30 Presentation of Certificates
